Spring 2026 Retreat Costs and FAQs

Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd March

How much does this retreat cost? 
The cost for this long weekend songwriting retreat with Robert Vincent is £530
 

What does this include?
Full weekend songwriting programme and master classes with full board and two nights’ accommodation, including Friday's welcome drink and supper; breakfast, lunch buffet and dinner. Special dietary requirements are catered for.


Will I have to share a room?

Yes, the rooms are shared twins alongside two double rooms that are available for any couples attending. If these doubles are not taken, we will draw names ahead of the retreat to offer them for the single occupancy.

How do I apply? 
We look to bring together the best musically connected, exciting, talented group of writers to enable the most rewarding and positive outcomes for all - our retreats are not for the beginner. Therefore, we ask that you apply to join this weekend through our Application Form, remembering to supply links to your music. If your application has been successful, you will receive an acceptance email along with how to proceed with our signing up process, and further details.

If you are unsuccessful in your application for this retreat, we will let you know by email and always provide feedback.

​How do I pay?

Upon receipt of your acceptance confirmation, a £150 deposit is required to secure your place, and an invoice will be sent to you. You will then be invoiced for the outstanding balance mid-February, which must be paid no later than the 1st of March.

 

Should you wish to pay by instalments, please email duncan@thesongwritersretreat.com and we can set that up for you.

 

If you should find that you are unable to attend, we ask for notification as soon as possible. The deposit is non-refundable.

What to expect?
Two full days of inspiring masterclasses, songwriting sessions and challenges - alongside receiving creative help, feedback and advice from Robert. 


To give you a brief flavour of what's to come, here is an outline of the weekend's programme (subject to change):
 

Friday: 

  • 18:30 Arrival

  • 19:30 Welcome drinks and supper

  • Meet and greet with Robert Vincent

Saturday:

  • Breakfast 

  • Guided morning walk (optional) 

  • Roberts first Masterclass session & Song Challenge

  • Buffet Lunch

  • Afternoon Songwriting Challenge session (collaborative) 
    Robert will drop in throughout to offer feedback, help & advice

  • 'Song circle' reviews & feedback from the day's session

  • Dinner

  • Songs in the round

Sunday:

  • Breakfast 

  • Guided wild water swim (optional)

  • Guided morning walk (optional) 

  • Roberts secong Masterclass session & Song Challenge

  • Buffet lunch 

  • Afternoon Songwriting Session (solo/collab)
    Robert will drop in throughout to offer feedback, help & advice

  • 'Song circle' reviews & feedback from the day's session

  • 19:00 Pizza and goodbyes

  • Safe travels home

Song rights:
All songs written at the retreat are retained as 100% to the songwriter and any collaborative / co-writes are divided equally. 
The Songwriters’ Retreat takes no claim or part of copyright in any songs written at the retreat.
