Spring Retreat 2026
SPECIAL GUEST MENTOR
ROBERT VINCENT
Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd March
We are delighted to be heading back into the heart of the spectacular Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park in North Wales for our long- weekend songwriting retreat, and we are thrilled to announce that our special guest mentor will be the brilliant, multi-award-winning, singer-songwriter, Robert Vincent, winner of this year's Americana Music Association UK Song of the Year for his song Follow What You Love and Love Will Follow. Robert has also been a twice AMAUK recipient of the prestigious Album of the Year, in 2018 for his iTunes chart topping I'll Make the Most of My Sins, and in 2021, AMAUK Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for his critically acclaimed In this Town You're Owned. His most recent album, Barriers, has spent multiple weeks in the country chart nestled between Beyonce and Taylor Swift.

Away from the noise and distractions of "real life", this is the perfect opportunity to join up with other talented song writers in our programme of inspiring masterclasses, co-writing sessions, song-writing challenges and workshops.
Home will be the beautiful former 19th century church of St. Curig. Set in the mountain village of Capel Curig this wonderful location, both inside and out, is simply the perfect place to immerse yourself into the art and craft of songwriting.
Places for this retreat are limited to just twelve and, to allow us to put together the most balanced, creative & like-minded group, are only available through our application process. So, if you would like to join us on this musical adventure in the mountains, please apply using the button below.

Live, as both a solo performer or with his full band, Robert is acclaimed by both critics and audiences alike. As well as his captivating headline shows, other notable performances include Celtic Connections with Mary Chapin Carpenter, showcase performances at Americana Festival Nashville and supporting Roger Waters in Hyde Park. Recently Robert was invited to open for Robert Plant and his band Saving Grace across their UK and European dates.
Robert is a seasoned songwriting mentor and collaborator, having been guest mentor at many songwriting retreats and workshops across the UK and USA – including Chris Difford’s UK Songwriting Retreat and the Buddy Holly Educational Foundation retreats in Lubbock Texas, Lafayette Indiana and, of course, Nashville Tennessee. Drawing on this wealth of experience, alongside his mentoring, Robert will present two masterclass sessions where he’ll share his personal insights, techniques, and creative approach to songwriting.

Together with a simply stunning venue & location, stylish accommodation, great food, great conversation, late night jams, collaborations and new friendships made, this promises to be a truly unforgettable chapter in your songwriting journey.
We look forward to meeting and welcoming you into the heart of Eryri.
Duncan & Christina
